Your Business Is Growing - But Every New Client, Hire, And Decision Still Creates More Work For You
Ops in a Box™: Operational Excellence for Growing Businesses
Ops in a Box™ is a build-as-you-go online course with flexible operational support that helps founders and consultants create a documented, measurable operating system without spending months building processes from scratch.
Growth Should Be Giving You More Freedom - Not Making The Business More Dependent On You
You hired capable people, introduced new tools, and delegated more responsibility. Yet the business still relies on you to answer questions, approve decisions, and step in whenever something goes wrong.
Time away still feels risky. Even a few days out of the business can leave you wondering what will be missed, delayed, or mishandled.
Growth creates more complexity, not more capacity. Every new client and employee adds more questions, handoffs, and decisions for you to manage.
Critical knowledge is still trapped in your head. Processes are scattered across unfinished documents, team messages, disconnected platforms, and verbal explanations.
Your team cannot operate consistently without you. Delivery depends on who is responsible, and employees wait for your direction before proceeding.
Financial accountability still stops with you. No one below the CEO has clear ownership of the numbers or responsibility for improving them.
The same problems keep returning. Fires are resolved in the moment, but the underlying processes are never properly fixed.
You may have more revenue, employees, and opportunities than ever before. But without the operational infrastructure to support that growth, the business remains dangerously dependent on you.
The Real Bottleneck Is Not Your Team - It Is The Operating System They Were Never Given
Your team cannot make consistent decisions when processes, ownership, and performance standards are unclear.
Hiring another person, adding a new tool, or writing a few SOPs may ease the pressure temporarily. But none of them creates a complete operating system.
You may have already tried EOS or another operating framework, only for the momentum to stall. Without a practical implementation process, the business eventually returns to the same habits, bottlenecks, and founder dependence.
Ops in a Box™ helps you identify what is breaking, document how the business should run, and build the infrastructure your team needs to execute without your constant involvement.
Find the operational leaks. Identify where time, money, ownership, and execution are breaking down.
Get critical knowledge out of your head. Turn recurring work into clear and usable SOPs.
Create measurable accountability. Use KPIs and scorecards to see what is happening before problems escalate.
Make delegation dependable. Give your team processes and decision-making standards they can actually follow.
Accelerate new-hire productivity. Replace repeated explanations with a structured onboarding system.
Assess your readiness for AI. See where AI can support the business and what operational gaps need to be addressed first.
Protect the business as it grows. Build infrastructure that can support more clients, employees, and complexity.
With the right system in place, you can stop carrying every operational decision alone, take time away with greater confidence, and focus more of your attention on strategy, partnerships, and growth.
The goal is not to remove you from the business. It is to build one that benefits from your leadership without depending on your constant presence.

Built For Founders Ready To Step Out Of The Bottleneck
Ops in a Box™ is designed for you if:
Your business is growing, but the infrastructure is falling behind. You lead an established or scaling company, typically generating $2M-$10M with a team of 10-200 people.
Too many decisions still come back to you. Your team cannot move forward confidently without your input.
Execution is inconsistent. Delivery, onboarding, and accountability depend too heavily on who is responsible.
You know time or money is being lost. But you lack the visibility to identify exactly where and why.
You want to work on the business, not constantly inside it. Strategy, growth, and relationships need more of your attention.
You are ready to improve how the company operates. You are willing to document, measure, and apply what you build.
You are a startup consultant who needs a proven operational framework. You want practical tools you can use to diagnose bottlenecks, build systems, and guide implementation with greater confidence.
Ops in a Box™ is NOT designed for you if:
You are unwilling to use the deliverables. The tools only work when they are applied inside the business.
You want growth without operational change. Stronger infrastructure requires changing how work is documented, measured, and managed.
You expect software or another hire to fix everything. Neither can create accountability without clear processes and ownership.
Your business already has mature operations. Companies with an established operating system and a strong internal ops team may not need this program.
Ops in a Box™ provides the structure, tools, and implementation path. The results come from putting them to work.
Growth Becomes Dangerous When Every Decision Still Comes Back To You
Missing infrastructure does not simply create more frustration. It makes every stage of growth harder to manage.
You hit a growth ceiling. Current systems cannot support a higher demand.
Critical knowledge disappears. A key person leaves, taking essential information with them.
Mistakes become more costly. Small gaps turn into delays, lost revenue, or damaged trust.
Opportunities become harder to accept. The business lacks the capacity to grow confidently.
Stepping away remains impossible. The company still cannot run, transfer, or sell without you.
Building the operating system now protects the business before growth exposes those gaps more painfully.

The Beliefs Keeping You Trapped In Day-To-Day Operations
Myth #1: “Documenting processes will slow us down.”
Truth: Repeating instructions and fixing the same mistakes already wastes more time. Clear documentation helps the team work consistently without relying on you.
Myth #2: “My business is too unique for systems.”
Truth: Complexity makes clear processes and ownership more important, not less. The right structure helps your team move faster without becoming rigid.
Myth #3: “I already know what is broken.”
Truth: The visible problem may only be a symptom. A structured audit reveals the real bottlenecks before you invest in the wrong fix.
Myth #4: “Hiring more people will fix it.”
Truth: Adding more employees to an unclear system often creates more questions and inconsistency. People perform better when ownership and expectations are defined.
Myth #5: “KPIs can wait until we are bigger.”
Truth: Without useful metrics, you are already making decisions with incomplete information. A practical scorecard shows problems while they are still manageable.
Myth #6: “I do not have time to build this.”
Truth: Missing infrastructure is already costing you time through repeated questions, slow onboarding, and operational errors. Each module creates a practical asset your team can use immediately.
Gaylene Hanson Helps Founders Build Businesses That Can Scale Without Consuming Them
I am Gaylene Hanson, founder of Hanson Consultant Solutions and creator of Ops in a Box™.
As a founding COO, I have spent my career building operational infrastructure and helping scale two healthcare companies from the ground up. My work focuses on creating practical systems that growing teams can actually use.
This work is also personal. My father built a business from nothing, but never had access to the operational support that could have helped him take it further. His story became part of the reason I created Ops in a Box™ - to give founders the structure he never had.

The Experience Behind Ops in a Box™
Founding COO experience. I have built companies and their operational infrastructure from the ground up.
Two healthcare companies built from zero. I have applied this approach while helping establish and scale two businesses from the earliest stage.
My mission is to make operational infrastructure accessible to growing businesses, so founders can scale with greater clarity, build something that outlasts them, and create a legacy beyond their direct involvement.
